I like how this is deviating from the Karate Kid formula, where Chiharu doesn’t want him to fight and everyone thinks his quest for vengeance is stupid.

At first I thought Chiharu’s bitchiness was really mean spirited but when I got to the end of chapter, I realized they were having a tsundere contest. I think she won.
