BOYS ON THE RUN, by Kengo Hanazawa ch42-43

Ever since I started reading comics in Japanese, there’s only been two occasions where I’ve stopped and thought “wow, this has to be translated so more people can read it.” The first was CRIME AND PUNISHMENT: A FALSIFIED ROMANCE volume 2, which we did a while back. The second was BOYS ON THE RUN volume 5, which begins next week.

Even though we never got to finish the first series, and even if we never get to finish the second, I feel pretty lucky that I was able to at least share those two moments.

Knowing Hanazawa, I am having hard time reading those chapters (as it is painfully obvious what will come). I guess that is a part of the appeal, sharing the torment of the protag.

Thank you so very much for translating this manga so far. I hope you get the chance to finish it. I cannot wait to read volume 5 and maybe experience what you spoke of. If someone ever has the guts to translate and print this in English, i’ll buy the whole series, no doubt.

    *Start reading the chapters*

Oh boy, I’m ready for an all out social awkward bonanza before the fights starts. It’s gonna be a pleasantly enjoyable riot, it will!

    *Page 200*

I’m the burning personification of a never ending, undying surge of inner anger right about THE FUCK now.

Man… I’ve never ever ever thanked anyone in a blog… not once… but for the first time I want to thank you for translating this…
