BOYS ON THE RUN, by Kengo Hanazawa (ch 81-82)

BOYS ON THE RUN is back and going right to the end.

So apparently stories are meant to have peaks and valleys so the audience doesn't get bored or exhausted. BOYS doesn't really do valleys.

Good to have you back, and let us know what you think of the direction Mr. Hanazawa is taking this in. If I remember correctly, there are only 24 chapters left.

  2. MJ says:

So glad to have more chapters to read. I don’t know if my heart can take much more. My blood pressure is through the roof. Keep up the great work.

  3. svines85 says:

  4. neitan says:

    Thanks!! Great work!!

  5. Anon says:

Wow, Boys on the Run just came into my mind after a month and look what I found! Lucky! Thanks so much!!

  6. Sam says:

    “It’s been three days”

Ummm, no Kengo, closer to three months. :P

Tanishi strikes me as the type who has grown so used to failure that he subconsciously sabotages whatever success he does get. After a certain point, failure actually becomes so familiar that it becomes comfortable

  7. Sam says:

Man though, it’s easy to see why these chapters took so long to translate. All those papers and notes… whatever happened to nice, easy word balloons… hats off to Robin for the editing and Daniel for the translation

  8. Mr. Me says:

Welcome back BOTR! Didnt take long for Tanishi to get back on track lol.

  9. Federico says:

LOL at Tanishi’s parents embarrassing him in front of her. At least she’s a good sport about it.

Hope things get better between them after that clash at the end. Can’t believe there’s only 24 chapters to go.

  10. choco says:

Thanks man really appreciate your work

  11. Anonymous says:

Can’t wait for some more despair. Thanks.

  12. Red Haired Shanks says:

    Thanks guys for the chapter!
I can understand Tanishi completely.. He is indeed really unlucky.

  13. Anon says:

Well, that took a turn for the worse fast. I’m not seeing a happy ending with them after this but I’m pretty sure it’s not gonna be an emotional trainwreck like with Chiaru.

Too bad, the first chapter was all kinds of positive emotions. DAAAAAAWWWWWW as shit.

  14. Daniel Lau says:

Thanks guys! Glad to see it’s been missed. I better get cracking on the next release then!

  15. Totally Not Bender says:

You are a golden god, Daniel Lau.

  16. Some Anon says:

    Yayyyyyy! :)

  17. Some Anon says:

Can the married thing really be a big deal to Tanishi after what she said?
C’mon dude, just have your tantrum and then go after her and say you’re sorry.
Loled IRL when dad said Tanishi always hid in the bathroom when embarrased.

  18. saghey says:

    @some anon
If I am not mistaken, someone who is married and going through a divorce is a big deal in Asian culture. Filial piety is still a prevalent value.

I knew they were not going to stay together, but what are you doing man?!

  19. spr-ppr says:

Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees! Day = made. Just what I needed after starting a tiring new job. You gents are superstars, thanks again. Think I’ll save it for the weekend though…

  20. bro says:

    Right now the only thing in the entire world that I want is for this to end well ;_;

  21. Anon says:

    @bro

It won’t, bro. You have to deal with it. It’s probably gonna be a bittersweet ending so you’re going to have to balance the good with the bad.

  22. Nate says:

Why does Tanishi have to be such an idiot? :(

  23. signorRossi says:

    Of course it’s been missed…
    Thanks for the new chapters!

  24. kcbrill says:

Hah, that’s what I love about Kengo Hanazawa. Everybody’s already assuming Tanishi and Hana’s relationship is bound for failure. But maybe that’s just what he wants you to think… He tears you down after building you up over and over until you just assume you’re going down. So now, if it turns out good, you’ll be surprised. Where as if this was the first you’d ever read of Hanazawa and you were used to more mainstream manga, you were really expecting an interesting route to a happy ending at most.

I think they’re probably gonna fail… but! Hope springs eternal I guess. Even for losers like us.

  25. Anonytanishi says:

Finally we can open daniel-lau.com at work without people seeing “PORN” in 300-point font all over our screens

  26. Daniel Lau says:

Anonytanishi: Haha, sorry about that. I’ve actually been concerned lately that the cover and the title actually make the story seem sleazier than it is.

But really, you should never be opening this site at work …
